    My advice is to make sure to set up the tank (or tub) with everything you will need before you get the snake. start letting the heat run and make sure your temps are nice and stable, you're snake will be much happier if everything is ready and waiting for him =)

    also, i would advise to start saving money for a "rainy day" fund. i would never wish any illness on anyones pet, but sometimes it DOES happen, and vet bills can be expensive, having some money set aside for emergencies is a must.
