Thanks for the help guys. I'm really conflicted now so more advice is really appreciated.
This is exactly what im talking about. Do a search. I havent seen any negative posts about boaphile racks ( the actual product ). If boaphile has what you want and the others dont, why wouldnt you buy from them ? Because they arent going to send you an update email ? Seriously ?? If you have a question, pick up the phone and call. Like I said, I got Jeff immediately. Was a nice guy. Very helpful. Didnt seem to have any problem with me calling. What more do you want ? I bet if you placed the order and called Jeff and asked nicely, he would send you a very nice confirmation email. At that point, since you can contact them by phone anytime, you are getting exactly the same customer service as you would from the others.
I just dont get it. Really.
I could care less if someone holds my hand throughout the process as long as I am getting what I want. Apparently others need a little more coddling.

Boaphile products have a known issue with cracking and there are multiple threads on this site alone with bad reviews on them.
To the OP, all Economy line racks can be made in a enclosed version (and all enclosed racks can be made into an open economy style.

Yeah. If I get a better quality product but have to deal with a grumpy customer service like I did today when calling. I spoke with Jeff, and at first he was seemingly trying to rush me, but I had no problem keeping him on the phone until all my questions were answered (minimum 10 mins), and by the end he was quite pleasant. If that's the only problem I'm fine, but if you guys are saying theres probs getting help repairing things that's different.

Lets be honest here Aaron. When I bought my rack, I searched these forums pretty hard and I dont remember finding anything negative about Boaphile, EXCEPT from you. These cracking problems ? Show me a post within the last year or 2 where someone OTHER than you talks about it. Im not saying they arent out there but I dont remember seeing them and I just checked a dozen or so and didnt see anything negative. What I did see was where you got called out in other threads for blatantly bashing Boaphile.
Honestly, after reading so many of your posts regarding this, I would not be surprised in the least if you had a vested interest in one of the other companies. That or you are just overly bitter.
Listen Brion, go with the company that can provide the product you want for the price you want. Whether it is AP, Boa or RBI. For me, basing the decision on customer service is ridiculous considering its for a product you hopefully wont ever need customer service for.

I will NEVER gobwith the boaphile. I hate what he does.. to put it lightly. I know you're busy but to have to CALL to get ANY response, not to mention I've heard.multiple times were people don't even get a tracking number and simply go out one day to see a package... Ali gave me PERFECT service. I recieved a email after my order stating she got it, then another with a printable copy of my invoice, I was then told a few days before it went out it was almost done, then I ft two more. 1 from fed ex with the shipping, another from AP with the shipping. To the rack. I love it, easy to assemble as well, the flexwat was a bit annoying foe a first timer but it is still incredibly sturdy and worth the $450
In the end, you just have to go with what suites you, its as a simple as that.. but I just couldn't buy from boaphile. Plain as that.

You're right, he needs to go with what suites him/her, BUT you are completely arrogant... to say someone doesn't need customer service? Some of us have to save up for more then a paycheck or two to afford something like this. When I go and spend anything more then $20 I want to know where ny stuff is. I know I'm not alone in this either. You may not like customer service, but lets say you don't get sent the tracking bjmber... no lets say your package gets lost.. oh yeah. Customer service moment right there. Just because you don't think you'll need it doesn't mean someone shouldn't supply it.
OP. Just go with whatever suits you, I stand behind AP. I have only talked to the boaphile once and IMO he was rude And rushed. In my emails to RB they were very detailed and happy to answer any questions, the only questionable response I got IA when I requested. A payment plan.

LMAO - yeah its arrogance. Has nothing to do with the fact that Im a grown man and can figure out how to pick up a phone and dial 10 numbers if I need to ask a question. Seeing as how I havent HAD any questions in the last 4 weeks, I could care less about customer service at this point. Like I said earlier, some people need to be coddled.
I have already stated, if there are problems then I will be the first on here to complain. Honestly though, I havent seen a single post from a person where THEY , not some friend of a friend of a cousin's ex-boyfriend, had a legitimate problem or concern.
EDIT : Actually I am arrogant. It would be foolish to try to deny that. My arrogance has nothing to do with my posts on this subject though.

Here is one, I have seen a few videos as well, but I don't have time right now to look them up

There are others, I simply do not have time to look them up right now.

Here is the deal, when I order something online from anywhere I expect a order confirmation email, $3 purchase or $5,000 purchase it is just what is expected. You are acting like a company caring about their customers is a bad thing...
