Twenty years old and I still can't talk to girls....fml

So I finally had the time to catch up on this whole thread... Raptor's got it pretty close, though if I have enough video games and books, shiny gemstones are a weakness for me... but that's me.

What I wanted to add was the other side of the coin: Years ago when I was into the club and party scene, no guy would come up to me! I took an incredibly low self esteem friend of mine one night and she was constantly hit on. I asked one of my guy friends what the problem was and he told me I looked "too intimidating" or "too self confident to be single." I didn't necessarily feel that way, but apparently looked that way. There I was hoping guys would talk to me and when I did flirt at the bar, I'm told, scared them by speaking to them!

Somewhere along the way I just gave up and every relationship I had since I was 20 was either initiated by me or grew from a friendship initiated by me. Oh, but how I wish just one guy had the nerve to talk to me back then! (Or buy the pretty girl a drink, sheesh!) Just sayin' my 2 cents...
