I have thawed mine out in warm water in ziploc bags for 5 years now and haven't had issues. The site also says:
"Putting prey, submerged, in warm or tepid water, will dramatically decrease times.

Thawing in warm or tepid water is NOT recommended for pinkies through fuzzies."

Works for me. Was just basing it off general food thawing, but hell if I can put them in warm water to accelerate thawing I'm game.

I thaw in a plastic bag, in hot water until they're completely thawed through.

x2, its quick and they stay dry so substrate doesn't stick to the rodent.

It will make your life a lot easier.. Especially if you ever plan on expanding your collection!
