    Shouldn't defrost using warm water, only at room temperature. Once thawed you can use a hair dryer to bring the core temps up above room temps.
    I have thawed mine out in warm water in ziploc bags for 5 years now and haven't had issues. The site also says:
    "Putting prey, submerged, in warm or tepid water, will dramatically decrease times.

    Thawing in warm or tepid water is NOT recommended for pinkies through fuzzies."
