I can see very detailed craters from mine, as well as Saturn and it's rings, Jupiter and it's moons...I can see the Andromeda Galaxy, which is one of my favorite winter objects

    R/C planes FTW!!!

Other than snakes, I'm really into rc planes. Used to be into rc cars, but sort of got bored with it, didn't have anyone else to race around with.

    Fishing.

    Canoeing/kayaking.

Radio Controlled vehicles (I'm partial to RC airplanes).

    Martial Arts.

    Racket Sports.

    Geo caching.

Seriously though, FISHING. You're in Wisconsin, there is no lack of fish-able water there. There are a few places I need to get to over your way to chase some WI muskies.

I agree, I have a celestron nextar 130 SLT, and it does a fantastic job finding messier objects as well as other galaxies. I can get a nice look at Jupiter this time of year as well. Nice thing is the scope costs less than 350 bucks! Well, different filters can cost some extra ching, but still....once you have it you are good to go!
