I don't think I could ever stand to get my ears pierced much less have giant holes in them. Not my thing. I think growing long hair is my lone statement of rebellion.

Re: ear stretching takes so loooooong

i was at 1", then took them out with plans to join the military, then found out im not eligible, so now i have those famous "buttholes", theyre down to about 00, but i decided to go back up, i just ordered a set to get me back to half inch and im really anxious. anyway, i went really fast at first, to get from normal to 5/8" i only waited maybe a week or two between stretches, and i skipped a few(the ones i could safely), like i went straight from 14-10 and 8-4 and 4-0, and after having them out for a while the first time, i went from a 14 to a 4 with one push on the taper lol. i really dont suggest that, it bled for what seemed like all day

    Thanks.

I just don't have any stretchers/plugs in at all anymore. I have lately just been buying bigger stud-like earrings and buying those giant backings to them. Working fairly well.
When I wear dangle earrings they just weight them down, so it just looks like a slit.

    Ah well.

I just got a package from them in the mail... 1g glass single-flair plugs for $15, and they shipped in like 3 days (even though I paid for the slowest shipping). Nice! :ok:

I was stuck on a 2g for over 6 months, and just couldn't get that 2-0g taper to fit... I even tried taping, but found it to be a tricky & messy process. So I did a search for 1g plugs, thinking it might be easier than going a full 2mm - that site was the only place that had any, and the price was pretty reasonable. It totally worked, and I got them in with a little Vitamin E oil & a few minutes of (gently) pushing. Ears are a bit sore now, but they look great! I'll try to get pics later, and will share them here if you wanna see.

P.S. The 0g will be my "final destination," so hopefully I can get those in after a month or two with the 1g... I have some VERY cute 0g plugs just waiting to be worn.

I'm at 4g now and it will probably be 6 months before I'm able to go to 2g based on how slow things have been progressing.

So, I got bored and had my helix pierced along with second lobes. Fun!

    Cool jewelry, everyone!

Here's my latest, 1g glass plugs... they're not all that pretty, but it was literally the ONLY pair of 1g I could find! I have some much cuter 0g plugs waiting, so I'm anxious to get those in next.

FYI, the other earrings are 12 & 14g - and I have another hole near the middle, but never wear it because the placement was bad (it rubs against the cartilage too much):

Orders from them always seem to arrive REALLY fast no matter what shipping I choose. I just got in a couple labret retainers and these awesome 8g 2" diameter black captive bead rings. I plan to wear them through some eyelets for a different look.
