Yea that show was bad, it was a total scare tactic, they were pumping the fear factor for ratings, plus I thought there had never been a confirmed case of someone being eaten by a snake. Besides look at the how dangerous domestic dog breeds can be, how many children and adults are killed every year by pet dogs? It all comes down to people just being responsible, if someone is hurt it is probably not the snakes fault, it is almost always the persons fault. And people releasing pets are not the main cause of the python everglades invasion, it was hurricane Andrew and the reptile importers warehouse that blew down in the storm releasing thousands upon thousands of snakes into florida... But that doesn't jive with their agenda to curtail our right to own reptiles, so they will conveniently ignore the facts and continue the scare mongering to mold the publics perception of our community into something more "politically correct" and in line with the "mainstream"
