That made me cringe. I was brought a Rosy Boa last weekend with similar burns for the exact same reason. Common sense, people. Well, he's in great hands now. I'm sure after a few good sheds he'll looks much better.
He already looks better, when he came to me, all the wounds were bloody scabby, they were dry (no drainage), so I let them be (no soaking), and now that he's taking food & drinking, he'll pull through like a champ
