    Re: dessert storm???

    We have several members that live in arid desert (not dessert) areas. Hopefully they'll see your post and reply.

    I would recommend getting a smaller enclosure and keeping your snake indoors. There are simply too many variables that are uncontrollable out in your garage, the biggest being keeping the humidity up around 50-60% all the time, which he requires.

    If space is an issue, then I would recommend looking into a plastic tub set-up instead. Since they are shy animals that spend most of their lives in cramped termite mounds and rodent burrows, they don't require a lot of space, and in fact feel more secure in a smaller enclosure.
