She can't "let" you do it. He or she, if popped correctly will indicate exactly which sex the snake is. Now, if the snake is popped incorrectly, a male can possibly be called a female. If you are not seeing the red end/head of the hemipenes and the horns or hemipenes is fully extended, you have a female.

Really? I heard that adult snakes can be very hard to pop because their muscles are much stronger and therefore harder to reveal their sex organs.
