    That does sound a bit odd, do you have the ability to take a pic of this? And describe this space. is it pink or red between this space. Are these the old scales creating this space or is it the new ones coming in? Doesn't sound like the end of the world but would like some clarification there.

    Typically humidity is perfect around the 55-70 area, i don't like to let my tank drop below 60 if i can help it, it just promotes good sheds. And maybe once she clouds up ill bump the humidity to 75 or so for a day to 2 just to make sure she is gonna shed perfectly.


    As far as feeding when was the last time she ate and did she successfully eat? Was this before the problem occurred?

    Chances are if your in and out cleaning the snake and applying ointment she might be a little stressed with everything considered. But it never hurts to try. If your feed isn't successful don't sweat it and give it a shot when she is further along in the healing process.
