She was read and then as i started treating her the affected scales began to dry up and then by next shed the area was healed. I also gave her a 15 minute soak in chlorohexidine to keep germs or chance of infection from occuring. And it also a great way to keep your tank clean with a simple mixture with water. Hope this helps!

To avoid this again:
Scale rot- make sure that your substrate is not holding to much moisture, specially in her hides where she spends the most time. Don't over mist the tank and keep your water dish away from hides so an accidental spill wont' be an issue.

Thermal burns- Make sure that if you heading using an UTH that you have it on a thermotstat, becore mine was it got up to almost 120 degrees which is really really dangerious for you snake. Other then that yor donig the right thing with the neosporin.
so your saying even though its drying up to keep using the neosporin? and its definatly not a burn because my uth is on a thermostat and the temps are good also my thermostat has an alarm that tells me if it goes over or under 2 degrees i have it set for 83 degrees...

oh and one more thing since it has gotten dry it almost looks like there is dry blood in between the two scales that are messed up but when i go to wipe it clean nothing happens so i dont think its dry blood. do you know what that is all about? it might just be me making it worse than it actually is in my head. lol thanks for all the help!
