In terms of the thermostat temp, your "hot side" temps should be around 90-93 degrees for the UTH. 83 is a bit low, that's the correct ambient temp for the snake but you should give your snake the option for a hotter area to hang out if he/she desires it.

From what it sounds like to me, this "dry blood" is just the scales discoloring from them dying off making way for new scales to come. Unless you see actual wet blood i wouldn't worry about that. I would just avoid contact with that area as much as you can, but again keep up with the neosporin that can do nothing but help at this point.

Hope everything is ok!! Keep me posted

i meant to say 93 lol my mistake. and im still using the neosporin but i actually stoped for 3 days last week and someof her scales were shedding in a way like the outer layer of the scales were coming of as i wiped it clean is that normal? i have her on paper towels now and i think im gunna keep her on that from now on. it also does look a bit better the only thing that seems worse is that the two scales are not tight to her body like they have a gap in beetween them its really odd looking. but the redness is cooling down and its turning to a light pink. thanks again youve been alot of help!

also what is my humidity supossed to be looking like now and should i still feed her next feeding day?

thanks,
