Ummmmm Ive tried a ton of different os's I'll list them.
windows server 2008
mac os x
xp pro
vista
windows 7 (64 bit)
windows 98
Suse Linux enterprise 11
kunbuntu
google OS
I like Windows 7 a lot, I was really impressed with it, its also the only OS on that list thats a 64 bit OS so I saw a substantial speed increase. which is always good =D.
Kunbuntu was fun but it takes a lot of time to set up.
Mac OS X SUCKED, sorry mac lovers, I just didn't like it, I'm not a mac hater... I own an Iphone. I just didn't like it.
Google OS was fun to play with for a while. I'm actually going to reinstall it and just let it sit for a while, I'm excited to see what more google does with it.
XP is great, end of story! Except that its not 64 bit.. I think there is a 64 bit version but I don't know if its true 64 bit or if it just recognises 64 bit processors.
there will always be a special place in my heart for 98. I learned everything I know about computers on windows 98, although my fist OS was windows 3.1 on a tandy 486, LOL I was 7 years old when I got that!
Is it just me or does it seem to me like microsoft does what they did with vista on purpose... They make a operating system that revolutionizes the OS industry (I.E. the 98 to XP upgrade) then they drop some peace of crap half done OS like vista, (or windows 2000 if you tried that) in the mix to try make more money to fund there next big project... Atleast thats how it seams. lol
windows server 2008 and Suse Linux Ent 11 were both way fun to play with but they just don't seem practical.
