In Georgia, you can NOT keep any native species (rodent, reptile, etc.) unless it is classified as a pest (some still being excluded). Absolutely no native species of snake can be caught or sold in Georgia. Hognose is about the closest native speciese you could have. I'm sure you could argue an eastern hognose is a morph of a western hognose.
