    Well on these racks the tops of them need some kind of hard surface for the tubs.

    So i figured I had a bunch of flexable pvc laying around my shop that I could use..

    I figured if I would wrap the wood with pvc ( glue it down or staple gun it down) It would prevent expansion of the wood.. I would be very easy to clean/water resistant. You would be able to pull it very tight. It wouldnt look too sloppy.

    The picture above is from a job I did a couple days ago. This isnt what it would look like.. Just an example of what it is..
