Shows are always good to go to in the beginning to meet new people and see new things. Just be careful there are a lot of shady dealers out there. Once you meet the right people you can get better deals directly through them than even at shows and not have to worry about contaminating your own stuff. Also be very careful with winter shows due to weather, I have seen so many horror stories from either reptiles getting sick from getting to the show and from the show. I personally like shows but am very selective when making purchases. Happy hunting

Oh really great post. If you get something read the quarrentine page so you know what to do. I also...after a show...(this is just me being an over protective mama) we all come into the house and directly take showers and change clothes and wash the clothes right away. You never know what you might pick up and I certainly don't want to take a chance with my babies!! And like snikttime stated....talk to the dealers ....there are some ppl out there with not the best intentions. I also am not a fan of the ppl that are just in it for the money and could care less about the snakes wellbeing. I met a Boa dealer like that (big dealer) and wanted to smack him and take his snakes. My hubby is a retired Army guy.....I rarely see him get mad and have never seen him loose his temper...he always remains calm and while talking to this guy you could see his face getting a little more color.
Anywho...there is the rest of my 15 cents...lol

Lets just say it has advanced to ....way too much to list
The Manassas show isnt very big, but I'd say that you will probably not be disappointed if it's your second show. So drive the hour and a half from Richmond and come say hi
