Tattoo Taboo?

Your placing ink under your skin not opening the gates of hell and throwing them in..I think the most flattering thing for a tattoo is to have it be a tribute to someone still living. Honor the dead but celebrate the living. A living trubute to your grandpartents while they are still around to see how you honor them is a great thing in my mind.

My Grandparents don't agree with tattoos but they do appreciate them as art and I think they would be flattered.

I don't believe in bad omens or anything like that either. People get their kids' names tatooed on them a lot and they're fine

I brought that up and they said it's not the same thing because those are your kids and you made them. Or something like that. But I love my Grandparents and they mean the world to me so I don't see it as being different at all.

i dont think getting a tat in honor of someone thats alive is bad at all, i personaly wouldnt get someones name or initals in or on a cross tho (my ex pissed me off by getting my sons name in a cross) i think that is something you do after death. thats me tho if you look at alot of peeps tats and they explain them to you alot of people see diff things in diff tats. it all comes down to how you feel about the tat you are the one that has to wear it for life

No names in those Tattoos. Just the Rosary and the Saint and the other symbol. I can explain it to someone if they ask, and they always do. :]
I think it's weird when people put names in crosses or religious symbols. I'm not super religious or anything but I don't think they belong there.

i think the bad omens are more for relationships, and it isnt so much a bad omen more that most relationships dont last and people always look for reasons why

This is very true. Personally, I see nothing wrong with getting what you want. I'm not one bit religious or superstitious, though, so I might not be seeing what is 'offensive' about it to others. You being happy with it is what matters, though, because it's your body. Some people might not like it and judge you for it but that's going to happen in life anyway, one way or another.

I am going to try and get them done Mid November or Beginning of December. Just depends the Holidays. LoL. But I will post pictures as soon as I get them done.
