i dont think getting a tat in honor of someone thats alive is bad at all, i personaly wouldnt get someones name or initals in or on a cross tho (my ex pissed me off by getting my sons name in a cross) i think that is something you do after death. thats me tho if you look at alot of peeps tats and they explain them to you alot of people see diff things in diff tats. it all comes down to how you feel about the tat you are the one that has to wear it for life
