    Goat-stealers get my goats.

    Get your own stupid goats. -_-;;;

No but seriously. Rudeness, I guess mostly, but I try not to let anything really bother me. It's online, it's impersonal, posts have no tone (imagine if they did!) so lots of things can generally be misinterpreted. -shrug- Life's too short to always dwell on negative things and being negative to other people. I'd rather spend time doing other more worthwhile things.
Watch and wait; a hapless creature has wandered in wake of my growing hunger. My oh my, don't you look tasty?
Hey traveler, what do you know of wolves?

All that's scaly and reptilian, all that's furry and mammalian, all that swims in the sea, all that flies in the sky--I love each and every one of these precious creatures.

People who ask questions or tell stories with long, drawn out, run on sentences. Try as I may I can't force myself to read them

on a side note, this is an insanely popular thread. Feels good to belly-ache a little I guess haha

Re: What gets your Goat on the forums?

While trying to think of something witty to say, I realized I hate when that's all people try to do.
    Oh wait, I do that.

What get's my goat is when people aren't willing to admit their own mistakes. Hey, after all those "is this normal a Morph" threads, I realized, even though they are annoying and repetitive, I thought my 50% Poss. Het Caramel Ball Python was a 'Morph' when I got it.

We were all there once, right?

#1 annoyance: People who refuse (as opposed to being unaware of it) to use the wonderful Search function here, but need every piece of info handed to them on a plate; the "cater to me" attitude.

Re: What gets your Goat on the forums?

High-and-mighty, holier-than-thou attitudes in general. The hobby is supposed to be for fun. How can people be so impatient and condescending when they're apparently discussing something they really enjoy?

Also, I understand that some people like to spoil their animals, but I feel a lot of the time people forget that the main reason ball pythons are so wildly popular is that they are low-maintenance and quite hardy. I'm sick of seeing replies like "If you're not prepared to buy the helix thermostat/digital weighing scale/go to an exotics vet because you heard its breathing hiss once, you probably should have thought twice about owning a ball python". The vast majority of people respond appropriately, but somehow on every 'help me' thread, there's always at least one like that. That's a bit on the extreme side. People who honestly have those kinds of spending habits wont be owning pets for long. XD You can't solve every problem by throwing money at it, and if you can it should be a last resort.

Re: What gets your Goat on the forums?

My number one pet peeve is when people come into a thread, state something as though it's the truth and when questioned we find out that their second cousin on their mother's side's sister's boyfriend was drunk one night and told them this was a fact and they accepted it as so and now share it with others.

In short... stating misinformation as fact.

My other pet peeve... people who believe whatever they read without understanding that GOOGLE IS THEIR FRIEND and they can (and should) check it out before believing what they just read!

I forgot one... It bugs me when after a paragraph or sentence ppl type " That being said". It doesnt seem logical to type something out and then type "That being said". I know what was being said cuz I read it...

That being said.... I cannot stand when someone posts an answer to a question and then six people post the same exact thing with nothing more to add..... whats the point in that?
