His setup is in my bedroom I leave the recessed lights on during the day for his "day" cycle, and lights out at night with an infrared light above at night.
for the most part he stays in the cold side hut, its very rare when he moves to the hot hut. During the day he comes out and hangs on the branches under the infrared red (left on for 24hrs). In the mornings before work (6am) i catch him doing most of his action. If I am in the room for a long period (20min+), he will stretch out of his hut and lay across the branches.
Outside his encloser he usually sits in my lap or under my arm for 10-15minutes then he starts to adventure. He moves all around the bedroom. I took him outside once before it started to get cold and he seemed to enjoy it, he would stop and smell the flower garden then just keep scooting.
kjay & jjc i see your points, and admit they are valid. I haven't tried to introduce them I just thought in the long run it would be better for the snake to get used to her now, so later I will beable to have him out of his encloser more often and used to the family. Perhaps not?
