    I have never seen one, don't think they are native to SA. But I have seen some Cape Cobras (Kaapse Kobras we call them). I actually brought a (luckily) dead Cape Cobra to our vacation home while I was out exploring when I was about 6 . And I have seen puff adders. Also I have seen little snake (African House Snake) and a Molslang (Mole snake?? don't know what its called in English) in our garden.

    No balls this far south for us....

    I saw a Mozambique spitting cobra last tuesday, we were driving out of the Kruger National Park and he slithered across the road....

    I also did see ages ago an Afroc in the park and it had caught a baby impala, swallowed the whole thing....
