Re: Pet Ban- Has anyone heard about this?

I printed it out and am taking it into work today when I go, I work at petco, I'm going to see how far I can spread it through there. I recomend people taking it to they're local pet and feed stores to try to get them involved!

I think PIJAC should get their online registration back up and running. It's been paper-mailing or phone for a while now, both of which probably deter some people from joining.

It's sad... you just have to wonder where scientific evidence has gone? What are they using to back this up? I mean, even that falsified report on burms spreading throughout US... It's depressing...

And yes I will definitely support PIJAC and USARK.

Ha! I WISH the formation of laws was grounded in anything reasonable!

Re: Pet Ban- Has anyone heard about this?

Just got another email from J&J (thank you for keeping me so informed!)

Connecticut is gone, Please act now on HR669
This law snuck in, it has been passed and many many species are banned. No grandfather clauses, get rid of your pets and business by October 1st or face Hefty fines and confascation of your animals. Ball pythons are not on the list but many others are. Today is the last day to send your letters (by regular mail) to Tom Wolfe, 6246 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22205 regarding HR669 (they must be to Tom early Tuesday morning).

Re: Pet Ban- Has anyone heard about this?

i know, for a fact, the represenative from daytona florida,is pushing to help pass this,he responded to a letter from a member of another forum, saying thier stance is to STOP these animals from causing further harm to our nation.this will be a tough fight,i have been contacting local media and radio stations, and so far have got nothing in response, but i am still trying as the word about this has to get out, most hamster owners, and such have no idea about this, hell, most snake owners have no idea about this
