A couple months or so ago now, my wife told me she had a lady who desperately needed to rehome her snake and gecko. It was a bad marital ending, power had been cut to the house, and there was snow on the ground. We weren't going to have to pay for anything so I said yes thats fine we're both suckers for animals and at one point had 8 ferrets.

Meet Dresden, our 3.5ft long California king snake.

And Adalyn our Giant striped temper leopard gecko

This was out first snake and gecko...

My wife has been on a reptile binge since summer, and this opportunity sent her over the edge. So for Christmas I got her a corn snake that she fell in love with.

So this is Penelope, we're working on figuring out the morph but it's some type of albino.

My oldest son fell in love(and named) Adalyn the gecko, as a treat to him and for my wife's birthday, as that's what she wanted for her birthday, we went to our local Repticon and ended up coming home with nugget.

This is Nugget the gecko, A super giant blood gecko

So this brings us this past Mon/Tues, we ran to the local petco for some crickets for the geckos and while there I noticed they had their "fancy" ball python(99% sure she's a normal) for 50% off and then the girl walked up and said they would sell her for 75% off because she had been there so long. Their cresties are also 50% off... anyway... we pulled her out of the cage, and she's super chill, and I noticed she had a sore on her head. They chose to offer her to us as a free adoption, and we just happened to have a spare tank. It's an addiction lol.

This is our nameless supposed to be female ball python.

And her sore

I've been fighting with her tank to get the heat and humidity up to par. The tank is what our leopard gecko adalyn used to be housed in before we swapped her to a 20 long, I believe it's a 15, or 20 standard, it's too tall. So it's taken 2 heat lamps(1 100W CHE, and a 50W heat bulb) and a UTH, to get temps and humidity where it's needed 88 ambient warm side, 90 inside warm hide, 77 on cool side. 44-60 humidity I spray occasionally. Using a gladware disposable bowl as a hide and have a plant over the top so it is dark and hidden. Ordering some better hides. Have the walls insulated with foam board, and the lid partially covered with foil and foam board for insulation.
