It would absolutely NOT have been fair to her for me to keep her with the lack of knowledge and time given the circumstances. Secondly, my girlfriend has done her research. The animal has been hers from the get-go. So when I asked for advice, I wasn't blindly asking for directions. Just tips that some may have. And seeing as we have two other snakes whom we would never dream of getting rid of, I'd say that it's not a revolving door of animals. So, if you're gonna be rude than you can just feel free to not reply.

I kept my post short and to the point because I hadn't had my coffee and was walking into work but planned to come back and address issues I had in more depth later but Craig beat me to it. I don't see him being rude and he didn't come off as such in my opinion. You asked for advice and he responded. I feel the same way because I saw the previous thread, pictures and then see a gecko in the same exact tank. Did you clean the moss as well?
Saying "what happens with the leopard gecko is not my decision, seeing as it belongs to my girlfriend" is concerning. As for wanting to get more. This is a juvie, not an adult so what happens if you two get more juvies and then decide they aren't for you when they are full grown adults? People have every right to be concerned as leopard geckos are tossed aside as much as other reptiles when people grow bored of them, don't like having to keep crickets or mealworms and the impression you're giving people is that you rehomed one reptile and dropped another in the previous reptile's tank which is cause for concern. At the end of the day, people are going to be blunt and honest because they care more about the animal's well being than they do of someone's feelings. I can speak from personal experience in doing that as I've rescued a number of reptiles over the years and continue to do such.
