Sorry Isis, I didn't mean to ram a battleship up your butt. Especially for something you may not have even done and, dopey me, had you, was none of my business anyway.
I don't like sneaky people but you just try to make nice for folks. That's a nice thing, a good thing, a thing that makes this site as good as it is. Keep it up.
However, I honestly do almost always have a reason for my posts, should any of them have ever been the initiator of your PMs. Just so you know, I'm not just mean to be mean nor rude to be rude. Usually. And, when I am, there is usually a goal I am looking for.
Heck, in all honesty, some of the posts I make are so people WILL talk, not about me, but about whatever I posted on, while not online. That, however, is neither here nor there.
I was unnecessarily rude and wanted to make it right.
Sorry Isis.
Carry on as you see fit.
I was afraid to come back to this thread because of what it might say, and as I try to be as nice and friendly as possible to avoid any infractions or warnings I stayed clear of this thread. In fact I had a dream last night that I received an infraction and woke up totally distraught!
I will assure you that I'm not so cowardly to secretly PM a newbie about someone. I call the person out before PMing a newbie. And it is only the newbies I PM, they don't know what this site is really like. If I have ever PMed someone because of something you personally said I would have quoted your post and said something like: "you don't have the time to give decent advice, but you have the time to post that?" If I've never quoted you and said something of the sort then I've never PMed someone about you I don't send many of those PMs, but on occasion, when I find it necessary. It's not like I keep a list of rude people either I couldn't name one person I've been upset with, I tend to forget those sort of things. I'm quite sure the newbies also brush it off once they get some support from other members.
The most recent one I remember was a newbie asking for help with their setup and wanting to get everything perfect. They were confused because of what the pet store told them and what the care sheets on this site say. Which in my opinion is totally understandable, I was a newbie once, perhaps that's rare on this site. Anyway, someone found it necessary to chime in and tell the newbie they need to do some research and stop asking stupid questions. Really? Was that necessary? I don't PM newbies when someone tells them they aren't thinking when they sleep with their BPs, I mean, come on.... It's just the newbies that come here looking for good advice that I'm concerned with.
Apology accepted
Although, after reading your post previous to this one I wouldn't be surprised if I PMed a newbie about something you said
