Should I be worried?

Okay, so my female super pastel hasn't eaten in a month, since I got her. I have 2 other snakes not eating also (also new snakes) but they are bigger and have more weight on them so I'm not as worried. The super pastel is about to shed I think, so that could be a reason. Here are pictures of her and her husbandry. The hot spot is around 90 F. I also notice she is getting wrinkly which worries me. I have been offering her Frozen mice every weekend, and also a rat pup and shes refused everything. I really wanted to stay away from live but I may pick up a hopper today just so she eats. Should I be worried and considering assist feeding yet? Here are some pics. Right now your snake is having issue shedding (which can play a role), that needs to be the priority for now, what you see is a snake unable to shed because a humidity level that is too low.

Now as far as feeding, has this snake ever eat for you since you got it? If not you need to find out what was the prey offered prior to you acquiring it? If this animal was eating live you need to feed live, it is important to have a new animal eating for you and for that feed the same prey than what was previously fed is a must.

Once the animal feeds with consistency 3 to 5 meals you can attempt to switch.

I spray her newspaper down with water to increase humidity so I don't know how it would be too low. Maybe I'll try soaking her. But she was on live hoppers so I'll pick one up today

If she was on live hopper, then feed her live hoppers.

How are you measuring her humidity? To boost humidity while she sheds, you can pick up sphagnum moss, dampen it and put it in the hides where the BP spends most of the time. This will give your BP a humidity she needs to shed. Additionally, if you're having humidity issues, you might want to think about switching substrates to something like coco husk which holds moisture a lot better. Unfortunately, newspaper isn't really great for humidity because once it dries, that's it.

I'm assuming you mean mice hoppers. A mouse hopper is too small for a 275g BP.

She should probably be eating weaned rats or jumbo mice (based on my supplier's size of 32g to 38g). If you're gonna do live (which you should now), don't get a hopper mouse, get a big adult or two.

You may be right but I think I should atleast get her eating what she was eating before I offer something larger. And i just got a hygrometer in the mail today so I'll check her humidity

If she was on mice definitely offer mice for now however not a hopper but an adult, feeding too small of a prey may be an issue as well as she may not pay attention to something as small as a hopper.

To give you an idea hoppers are what is used to start BP out of the egg.

Is a mouse okay to leave in overnight or should I take it out after a while if she doesn't eat it

If you offer a live mouse remove if not eaten after 10 to 15 minutes.

wash it very carefully with water. Then soak the sponge in water that does not have any chlorine or chloroamine in it. Put a wet sponge in each hide to increase humidity.

Wash the snake with water?

Well, the live mouse has been in for 20 minutes so I'm taking it out. The room was completely black. I think im going to wait until she's done shedding and try again

Good job, do this a few more times with the same prey item and than you can attempt to switch her, just remember when switching, it is one step at the time if you want to switch to rats switch to live rats have a few successful meals and once you do you can switch to F/T rats, or do the opposite F/T mice first and rats second if you want to switch to rats also.

Thanks so much you've been great help. I'd like to switch to f/t eventually, but I'm gonna let her keep eating live adult mice for a while to get some size to her then I'll try rats.
