It is a Solomon Island Ground Boa - C. paulsoni. Figuring out sex is easy - spurs = male; no spurs = female Figuring out locality is a whole other story. The best guess would be Halmahera... which can/will lighten and darken throughout the day.

Close.... same genus, different species. :) Viper boas are C. aspera and SI Ground Boas are C. paulsoni
