Re: A Friendship Dilemma
Jay_Bunny, that was not an attack on your character. I don't know you well enough for that. You misunderstood what I wrote. That's on you.
It was an absolute outing of lil petey though, difficult though that was for some to see. That's on me.
I wonder if lil petey's unnamed poacher friend is also trafficking in other Ca. Native Herps. I know there are a lot of people who do and it just seems far beyond the pale for me to think that this yahoo pal of out little friends is a first time poacher. It's my thinking that this is a long time relationship, after all it takes more that a couple of weeks to become someones good friend, doesn't it? So, lil petey must know about this guys habits, poaching native reptiles, heck I would not be surprised at all if our tiny friend has poached with this NorCal Yahoo.
Still though, it's not cool that lil petey has known, if he has which I for one firmly believe he did, that this guy was a poacher and not only didn't do anything about it, but purchased animals illegally from him.
I wonder how many other poachers lil petey has done business with. I wonder how many he knows period. That's not the crowd I want to encourage to be here at all.
NO POACHERS! Boo and Hiss to those who support them.
Respect the Duck.

The problem with this statement is when someone breaks a traffic law, they're putting their own drivers license at stake, and no one else's. When someone breaks a herp law, they're putting everyones hobby at stake.

Dude, whatever.
Speculate all you want... but who the heck are YOU to judge ME?!
Nobody!
You're so angry at the world, so frustrated with people who don't follow the law and don't do as you say... get OVER IT AND MOVE ON!
Whatever happened to you in the past is your ordeal... get it together with your emotional issues.
Go hug a snake or something! Geez...

It's very easy to do all the name-calling as your frustration prevents you from ACTUALLY doing anything to me.
You're such a ... nevermind, I will not stoop to your level.

I think you're confusing the word stoop with the word stretch.
You don't stoop from where you are to get anyplace. You're as low as it goes.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
Doc, I don't know anyone on Fish and Game up there, but I will be talking to some folks in the herp society he claims to have gotten advice from. There are only 4 members, so it won't be difficult to find out who knows our tiny friend.
He's a lair though. He said he reported himself when he shipped the rattlesnake by USPS across statelines and no one had heard of him until some folks did some checking.
I would not be surprised if no call was made.

Oh come on! A single glance to the left under your username shows everyone you have a whole 2 infraction points. Stop trying to play the victim and paint the staff as the bad guys for making you unfairly have to follow the same rules as everyone else.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
The "friend" question, and in fact, even the "family" question when it comes to stuff/money/etc is simple.
When you give money to a friend and/or family, don't ever expect it back.
When you do a transaction with friends or family, consider everything a gift.
If friendship is the ultimate thing you wish to keep intact, don't ever bring up the money/transaction again.
This ensures friendship. Anything else creates tension.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
The fact that he has nothing better to do than call me....MULTIPLE TIMES.......
Is quite pathetic. LOL
I find it so amusing that an "adult" ( I use that term loosely ) would do things when he does not get his way.
Hahahahaha

Hi,
Lets try and keep any possible personal abuse off the boards if we can please.
It will only detract from the real issues in the thread and force us to move it off the main boards or possibly even delete it.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
I don't think he's quite that tall. Not if that was him following me around this weekend. That guy could barely see over the dashboard. Quite conspicuous.
I wonder if lil petey would find it laudable for a law abiding citizen to post a thread on the BOI titled something along the lines of- pete perez aka revxus aka silentnoise, what poacher shipped you that Coastal Rosy Boa?
I would, but alas, I cannot.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
Quite frankly, a post like this really pisses me off. I highly doubt you made a phone call to turn this guy in. I don't know you, I only know your posts. I didn't have a very high opinion before this but now, WOW! Here we are, fighting on an almost daily basis to preserve our hobby not only for us buy our children and some *********** does something he KNOWS is wrong. You can candycoat it, lie about it... whatever, everyone here knows you are the type of person who is dragging our hobby into the proverbial **** pile! Do all of us a favor, get out of this hobby, we don't need or want your kind.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
This entire thing has gotten WAYYYYY out of hand..
Come on you guys.
If he did report the "friend" then kudos to him. After that it really got childish. All the personal attacks were uncalled for. The most decent & understanding person here was Dr del. I have taken no sides on this as it just got too carried away.
So he got mad, you got mad, we ALL got mad.. Great, now lets go have some ice cream children.
If he did prank you Pat, then you did your part by warning the rest of us. But posting his photography web page was wrong.
I see all three of you involved in this tiff getting a bit carried away and showing off some attitude that im sure many will remember.
What was my favorite word again??
OH YES!
REPRISAL! The intent to inflict pain on one who has inflicted pain apon you. The worst type of revenge...
Just remember, one is only deserving of such activity if they have done something as equally cruel to you..
Now lets get back to the real purpose of the site called ball-pythons.net shall we??

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
My phone number is no secret, I've had for years and it's all over the internet.
Too bad I can't prove the last several, and I mean SEVERAL phone calls I received from a PRIVATE NUMBER after Pat posted my number publicly in this forum. Unfortunately, I cannot prove who it was because once again, they hide behind their computer and then hide behind their phone number, too.
I did nothing illegal but ask a question, and I got bashed and ridiculed. Quite frankly, I've heard all the laughs, all the names and it just doesn't matter to me what you call me, I could care less. My personal photos? Hey, I'm flattered actually that you googled my name and found something for the ladies... Yes, my ego is big...
How did I ever prank call, Pat? Really? A prank call? A civilized discussion is impossible with the likes of him and Wes, among others.
Prove to me that I intentionally embarked on an illegal transaction! I'll be at the next herp society meeting... I'm not hiding behind anything! I'll be there!
Now I NEED TO prove that I made actual report? Hey I called that toll-free tip line because of my right to do so, and you can either believe it or not. I don't NEED TO prove to anybody here, or there that I actually reported it. And you wanna call me a liar? Fine, but quit prank-calling my phone and hiding your Caller ID and then say that I was prank-calling YOU?!
Of course, you have the upper hand here since everybody knows you and you've been a member of this forum far longer than I ever can be, but step up like an adult and actually confront me and tell me to my face, or leave me a message when you call and actually use your mouth to speak... anybody can be a (expletive here) behind the computer. I don't have to be. If you have a problem here and I actually conducted an illegal transaction with intent, I'll be there at the next herp meeting. Prove it!
It's not my problem now, it's up to F&G. I've reported it and they know it. It's absolutely stupid to actually prove the act of such report to a bunch of nobodies over the internet.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
TRUST me, I have far better things to do than prank call you, Im not in High School anymore....I called you UNBLOCKED after you called me...twice.....DONE.
End of phone calls on my part.
Cant play the game you started? Please dude....take your medicine.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
i think that is a bad move. pete or even better peter, is a more marketable name than pedro in my opinion.
when i hear of pedro i think of that nerd from napoleon dynamite.
you have a gangster look, why not go with lil' peter?
i am glad you called fish and wildlife though. it sounds like you were conflicted on what to do and you came here and said what was going on you. due to peer pressure or whatever else reasons you chose to do the right thing.
So i applaud you for that.

Re: A Friendship Dilemma
I'm not so sure Fish and Game is part of the Tip Line.
I seriously doubt it the way things are out here.
Why didn't you just call Fish and Game little fellow? Because you KNEW you would be in trouble for smuggling poached animals?
I don't think he called anyway. He's always been a liar and I don't think that will ever change.
Hey, aren't you still married? If you are, how come you're looking for new women with no self esteem? Oh yeah, you're ALWAYS on the look out for those.
I think the screen captures of his old attempts and fooling the fairer sex are in his main thread on fauna. They're pretty funny.
And petey, what's with the veiled threats? You did much better in your email. There's a meeting tonight of the main chapter. If you leave now you can make it. It's pot luck. I'll be there.
I'd love to meet you in person.
I'm sure you know where it is.
