:gj: This whole thread, it's obvious that you spend too much time way over thinking things and you're making yourself nervous. Just talk man...most women will respond kindly in one way or another, though far less will actually be receptive. It's just how it is, so the more you talk, the more you're putting the odds in your favor of being talked back to. No offense, but you being 20 and talking about picking up and moving to another country near a girl you've been talking to via internet for 3 months is just plain crazy. Relax, don't think about things beyond the initial conversation, and roll with it as it goes. Too much thought and looking beyond now is only going to put pressure on yourself and you're gonna screw up. You'll know if/when things need to be taken up a notch.

Here's the second thing that makes you attractive to women $$$$. Get a job and make money. Go to school to get a better job and make more money so you can afford more women.
That's pretty much all there is to women. They like muscles and money. And shiny things like diamonds. But those come from the money.

Frankly, I can't stand jewelry. It's annoying, easy to lose, and tends to get caught on things. Me? I like a guy capable of carrying on an intelligent conversation. Guy doesn't know anything about video games? No, thanks. Not much money? Eh, going out is a hassle. Much more fun to pop a DVD into the PS3 and watch something at home. If you're going to insist on buying me something, get me a video game. Flowers wilt after a few days, and half the time, chocolate goes to waste.
Point is, women aren't as black and white as you act like they are; claiming that they all like the same things is fairly foolish.

I don't have much to say about this except that it's incorrect and very presumptuous. Raptor said most of it. I'm into video games and intelligent conversation as well, and I couldn't care less about how many muscles or money a guy has or whether he gives me shallow gifts like jewelry.
I don't know what women you've dated are like, but most of the girls I know (including myself) would be put off by that sort of attitude.
