I just replied to a similar thread... average adult BP enclosure on the market is 33.5" x 17.5" x 6" and larger. He would be great in a 20 gal. but you would want to consider upgrading the size further down the road.

Back in the day I used to have 2 adult males in a 40 gal. tank and they loved it but it was hard to keep the humidity up due to the screen top but covering about 80% of it with plastic helps as well as a humid hide. I switched to rack systems cause of the amount of snakes I have now and not necessarily because of the size.
