I originally wired some white ccfls to use, but when I wired it I did it directly so I had plug it in and out when I wanted it on/off, which is pretty annoying. Make sure you wire it though so you make use of the on/off switch that came with the ccfls.
thasnks for the heads up but i already intended to use a switch
anyways here is the power source. 12V 500mA DC
Here is the thing connected ot the harness, switches and inverter box. i ended up using led tubes as the cathode tubes colors looked washed and provided no lighting effect. good thing i brought home both
now obviously ill find places for the switches and the inverter in a hidden spot. but this looks interesting i will post pics of what it looks like installed.
that priceeeeee i know the led rope is 12vdc and you have to have a converter to make it from ac to dc
our two snakes absolutely love their red light. we tried alot of different lights but they prefer their leds. their not like a typical bulb that will keep raising heat leds are constantly a temp that a snake feels. ours are far more active in red leds.
