He should not have brought it to you... he should have taken it to the vet himself and accepted responsibility for it.

agreed, and no offense but your friend is a dumb ass, who sits on there pet snake. you don't just toss it on the couch take a shower and forget about it. like your cell phone or tv remote. i have never sat on my cat and its on the couch more then i am.

i sure hope he/she is bucking up for a the vet right now and your contacting one, because it may not pull through its cruel to not take it immediately and its a CRIME, that is punishable by law. not that any of us can do anything about it on here but if your going to tell me that they are going to ride it out and see what happens ill be pretty disgusted.

I have never in my life heard of a snake making any sound other then the occasional hiss. I say you get that thing to the vet asap. THey are the only qualified ones to make appropriate decisions as to its care.

    Re: python crying! (rescue)

Is there any way we could get an update on this little one? Did it make it through the night, and have you found a vet to get it in to? I wish this were nearby. I'd take it myself because I just can't stand to know they're hurting.

I cant understand why you were taking the time to post a thread about this snake, when you should have immediately been seeking a vet.You should not have been wasting precious time posting about it here.

My rescue had an RI and even after meds started, she cried like a grown cat one night. It was loud and very freaky.
