I take out the older litter right before the new litter is born... so around 3 weeks. Yeah, mommy doesn't get too much of a rest. I have to say, I've witnessed the births of 2 litters and not even an hour after the babies are born, the dad is chasing mom around again. That really IRRITATES me. I wanted to SQUOOSH the dad so bad sooo many times!
