    Re: Enclosure pics please!

    Zombie.
It's laminated pine board that I've stained honey oak.

Well, I set it up a couple days ago and so far so good.
Humidity has been fairly consistent around 50% (I'm using repti bark) and ambient temps are 80-82.
It took a little while dialing in the right setting for the Ranco Tstat...but belly temp is now consitently at 90.

There's lots of clutter and I think he's pretty happy with the new home.

Here's a view from the top. I covered 3/4 of it with tinfoil topped with rubber vinyl (to line a truck bed with) to make it nice black color. This keeps humidity up. I have 2 ceramic lamps - one with SunGlo bulb the other with NightGlo. The snake outgrew the tiki hut, so I replaced it with a decor from my aquarium that looked perfect as a hide. Snake likes it. There's also a UTH underneath. And I swapped the Aspen with Desert Snow to keep humidity up as well. It's twiced-milled Cypress now though. I just didn't like the white - it didn't look natural. Cypress also keeps humidity up.
    Nice tanks!!!

This one is for my hognose. It's only a 10 gallon. Same things as the ball python except only one ceramic lamp (Sunglo) - the tank cools down at night. And using walnut shell substrate that looks like sand but holds humidity good. Hognoses likes to burrow.

I'm going to stick with glass tanks. I think it would be much easier to keep clean than wood.

    Well, here goes
Built this shelf myself. It was pretty simple.

    Full view:

Feeder tank and "Storage" space underneath:

    My Ball's enclosure:

    Cool Side Hide:

Warm Side (Sponge is for keeping humidity up)- Sponge, Hide, Branch:

Water bowl is right between hot/cool side.

    Warm side temp/hide/branch/sponge:

Took his hide off for a quick picture :

Cute pics of Alaric on my bed:

That's a lot of pics! Sorry! You tempted me with asking for pictures!
Sorry about quality, too. They're taken from my cell phone. Lol.
And yes, I need to get more digital thermometers and a digital thingy to read humidity. I'm a poor college kid. It'll come in due time
    Girls can like snakes, too!

Where did you get the rock hides in the Gopher tank?
I'm looking for a large natural looking hide for my BP
other than the 'Zilla' or 'Exoterra' rock hides.

    Thanks
