As long as you use common sense having a big snake is the same as having a ball python in my opinion.

Sure. Just 5 times longer and 15+ times heavier.

I am not picking at this but snakes do not get loose on there own .

Maybe not in most parts of the country, but hurricanes can certainly cause them to get loose in some southern states.
