Re: Have you taken your BP to work or anywhere else?
I take my snakes to work all the time...I work at a natural pet store. The employees love em', and the customers get a close up and personal educational experience. It's really cool because some people who have never touched a snake before can hold one, and after they hold it, they see they're not these monsters, and have a new viewpoint....."...snakes are not so bad after all..." I love the oppotunity to educate people on snakes!

Well, not exactly. Probably in another store....becasue the store I work in does not sell pets. Just food, toys, treats, clothes, etc. It's 75% dog stuff, with a focus on healthy natural and organic products, mixed in with the outrageous stuff like doggie treadmills, dog gps locator systems, dog strollers, and $100 bags of dog food.

Re: Have you taken your BP to work or anywhere else?
I've taken one of mine a few times. The Herp Vet is around the corner from the office. I live about 30 miles from work so the back and forth doesn't work out.
I got snake off Craigs list and once I got it home I noticed wheezing so off to the vet we went!
In any case we had to make 3 trips and the snake came to the office and hung out each day.
I have an office and only showed my employees (because they had expressed interest before) and a couple of friends. Everyone was cool about it. I was discreet around those I thought would freak....
I have one of those inexpensive plastic cages and a heating pad. Works okay for that situation.

My snakes are actually kept at work. I work in a tattoo shop so my co-workers/boss don't really mind. I have them in our "employee lounge" in our basement. I'd bring them home but my 1 roomate thinks they'll escape and kill him.
