Wow, big difference in the pics. The older pup looks blue to me.

    Re: What am I?

Nope, still Mink. Just a light colored Mink.

Minks can be pretty variable, from a really dark, almost chocolaty brown, to a like greyish brown. All are still considered Mink.

    Re: What am I?

In the top pics, it could be a terrible pic of a russian blue, but in the close ups, they dont have the usual heathering that russian blues have, so it looks Mink to me.

Adorable! I still don't have any minks.

    Re: What am I?

Here is a litter of Minks I had, showing how variable they can be.

I have to say, of all of the colors of rats, Mink was by far my favorite. My particular line of minks were a bit dark, but it didn't stop a much lighter baby being born in the same litter.

The top picture does look greyish, but that's not uncommon for Minks. Imo, still very obviously a Mink, and a cute one at that.

    Re: What am I?

First one also looks like it may possibly be dumbo. Hard to tell without a side photo
Of all the tyrannies a tyranny executed for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. for it may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busibodies. For a robber baron's cruelty may cease; his cupidity may at some poitn be sadiated. But those who torment us for out own good do so without ceasing because they do so with the approval of their conscience. ~C.S. Lewis

    Re: What am I?

I found a sight that had grey ones in the mink family that they called lilac.

I don't think I have any dumbo genes. But would love to add some!

Just wanted to say, this looks like a champagne. I realize I never mentioned it.
