The wattage is the important thing. Keep track of the totals for each strip of flexwatt and make sure you're nowhere near 500w and you're good.
Instead of extension cords, though, I would use the outlet extenders. You know, the little 'boxes' with three outlets on one plug.They're more direct to the original power source. That's what I use on my Herpstat with 5, soon to be 8, UTH pads plugged into it.
