substrate idea
while over at joann getting greens i found this foam sheet called foamies (http://www.darice.com) and i was wondering if anyone has tried it.
it comes in 2-5mm thickness and 9x12 12x18 and i think 2'x2'
in many different colors

it'd look cool but probably not too great for geckos, unless you kept replacing it like every week.

at first the site was not searching and I was unable to see the product. I know what it is now. The huge kid letters n stuff. Might be cool. I dont see why it would not work

yea thats the stuff!
id like to see this stuff ran under the microscope and see what kinda structure it has. now if i can only remember who told me they had one

i use that foam sheeting for putting on the sides of my tank for privacy, but never thought about that for substrate. Id probably just stick with the kitchen shelf liners as they have something in them to prevent bacteria and germs.
