    Vision Cages?

    Hey y'all,

With the welcoming home of our fourth ball and second female, Stefanie and I have decided to upgrade to a more functional caging system. I've been looking for a rack-like setup where the rack would still be a functioning display. For the most part what I have been able to find are tub-like racks. Stefanie found the Vision Cages on the LLL Reptile website (we purchased our original balls from them) and I've been looking at them for the past week and looking over the internet for reviews. As always though I trust what you all think above what I have read and would like to know your thoughts on the V221 and V211 Vision Cages. I am leaning more towards the V211 but I like the length of the V221.

Also, what thermometer/humidity gauge would you all recommend with that setup? They would be stacked four high.

    Thanks,
    Brett

I have 3 v221 cages and i like them. I however think seeing that you have a few balls allready, you might wanna consider a rack if you planning on purchasing more. Racks are easier to heat, and control humidity. Cleaning is soooooo fast and easy. I would look into Reptile Basics racks, or Jason Jungle racks, Animal Plastics too. The enclosed design is clean and compact, and retains heat well.

If you really like the vision cages, go for it, i have 4 six foot cages in my room, and 3 v221 cages and love them.

I have 6 RBI cages and 4 RBI racks and love them all.
The cages hold heat and humidity very well and are just as easy to clean as the tubs
I use the Acu-Rite thermometer/hygrometer which can be purchased from Lowes (and other places) for about $12.

Would you mind showing me a picture of your setup? We have decided to go with the V211s, which like the thermo's Im ordering in a few minutes.

Thank you both very much for the replies.
