16 tub rack with heat and tubs for $279 shipped? How could you go wrong with that? The only thing you need to run it that costs extra is the thermostat. Got to save up some cash and for this.

Doh, nevermind. I thought that the tub dimensions were 36 1/2" x 17" wide x 14". I see that is the dimensions of the rack itself. What a dummy I am. Oh well. I guess I am going to have to build my own to get it on the cheap.

Personally I cant stand the 6 qt tubs. They are way too hard to keep clean, they have to be completely cleaned 2-3 times a week and spot checked everyday. I like the hatchling tubs from Freedom Breeder and Vision Products. I plan on building my next hatchling rack using VP tubs. Hatchlings can stay in them longer and get more established before having to be moved to a bigger tub also, sometimes that move can lead to feeding problems.

I know, but the added area on 12qt is width. The added area on FB & VP is lenght, I like the narrow tubs for added security. The FB & VP tubs are the same width as the 6qt.
