I breed in 2 different 'shifts. I have one group of females that are bred in the winter, and another group bred in the summer. So, technically, I breed 'year round', but no one BP would ever be bred twice in one year. IMO, it is far too much metabolic stress when you consider the breeding cycle of this species. Concentrate on successfully pulling off 1 healthy clutch before getting to far ahead of yourself. I think you will find that first clutch will be very educational (and rewarding).
