Well, it's official. We are now an item.

We talked about it last night and we have decided that we a going to build from here.

I couldn't be happier.

Congratulations on things working out for you. I've made several good friendships with people I have met online and even more through them so I really hope this keeps going well. This is crazy.

I am head over heels about her and all this is (us together) is only 2 weeks old.

The best thing about it she tells me that she feels the same and that her co-workers, friends, and family never seen her act like this before.

the head over heals thing.....what starts out burning hot, then that fast runs cold...keep it together, act normal, don't change too much. remember who she fell for...aaawww.see what i mean???

No offense Wendy, but I don't agree with the above post not one bit.

he wants a relationship, he is putting his heart on the line for her. that's what you do when you love someone, you take the risk of handing that person your heart & soul because when you love someone you give them your all. Yeah it's scary but that's love -a scary roller coaster ride with its ups and downs.

My gf and I started out as pretty darn good friends in college, started dating sophomore year, and now we've been together over 3 years!

We've already decided to stay together, heck we're even talking about what we want to do once we've retired(live on a small farm is the current plan!)

The question you need to be asking is "is it possible to go from friends to being grandparents?" lol.. I'd definitely have to say yes, and it probably happens to many more people than even I imagine. I think there are far more relationships that work because people were friends first, and the relationships where you start dating someone before you even know them are more likely to fail.

glad to hear you ar eboth happy, and hopefully it stays that way. In my experience the biggest mistake I ever made was dating my best friend, who is now my wife. I love her to death, but our friendship was so great and we used to have so much fun together. But now everything is serious, and not so much fun. Hopeully you both can void that though. Goodluck

who says we don't put our hearts/lives on the line? trust is one of the most important, purest issues in a relationship, that two human beings (straight or gay / friends or lovers) can have. we do give it our all, he knows all my deepest, darkest, brightest secrets, goals, dreams, ambitions, visions,good or bad and vice-versa. no holds barred, he knows everything! now thats trust. love may be a scarey roller coaster to you, with its ups and downs, but my .02 cents on that one is that "love is an ability"(stole that from,"dan in real life" thanks steve carell!). you put trust in each other, true trust, ( not things he/she might throw back at you in the future),and that person doesn't abuse that trust, trust metomorphasizes into love. and as far as the ups and downs are concerned...well thats just the roller coaster called life, like a box of chocolates, full of suprizes! (stole that one from forrest gump!) i truely believe that you know you are in love when that person brings out the best in you, and vice-versa. hey this is just an opinion, take it for what it is worth. if they are good enuf "friends", he will know exactly how to make her happy in a relationship as well and vice-versa, and it sounds like it is mutual. they might both have to work at it too, but time will tell....(filly77-and not to sound like a phsycologist here, but you seem to have some trust issues as well...imo)
