Friends to lovers?

Ok, well there has been this girl I met on Myspace about 5.5 years ago right near the time I met Steph (ex-fiance).

We really had no interest in each other it was more just a friend type deal. Steph knew we are friends too.

Over the years we really just talked a lot about the relationships we were in and stuff like that.

I only met her face to face once throughout all those years and it was by accident at a bar.

Since me and Steph called it off months ago we started talking on the phone instead of just instant messenger.

I really consider her as a best friend throughout the years providing support and advice and vice versa. She helped me dearly through the heart break of the broken engagement.

So a few months ago she got out of a dead end relationship as well. So it's weird because we know what each other wants just from all the previous conversations and such.

Well she has started coming down to my neighborhood a lot and we have been hanging out but nothing more between us just friendship.

She knows that I have been talking to girls but really never said anything about it.

It took me a while to think that maybe she does have a thing for me but I didn't want to say anything or make a move just in case she wasn't thinking that and either put things in the tube or put myself in an awkward situation.

Well, we went again on Friday night and came back to my place after the bar. She lives about 20 mins away and said she is tired.

I said you can stay over and take the bed and I'll sleep out here. She looked at me and said lets both sleep in the bed. Smiled and me and then went in for the kill. haha

I'm the type of guy that doesn't rush things and like to take my time. So nothing dirty happened. PG rated night to say the least.

We have let each other know that we are going to take it day by day but in all reality I feel good about this one. I have even cut off communications with the others that I recently been talking to because they could not even compare to what could possibly happen in this case.

Her friends and family have been saying to her that she seems oddly happy recently walking around with that special glow. She says it's all because of what seems to be happening.

I'm just really happy and really hope it works out for the better.

The kicker is that we know what each other wants and knows what each other has been through and it could make things really special.
