Be an art snob if you must, but there's scarcely a celebrated piece out there that doesn't have prints made - are you saying the Mona Lisa isn't an original piece? I mean... really.

The Mona Lisa was a famous piece before it was reproduced. And it is kinda old and stuff...

Thank you - i had no idea. I was sure that it was whipped up in the past decade or so. Perhaps by Thomas Kinkade? Or was it Christian Lassen?

You made no delineation in your original statement between "old" art, "new" art, "kinda famous" art, or anything.

If you don't think that print distribution and subsequent popularization increases the demand and therefore the value of the original work, by all means feel free to offer a good reason why not, or any kind of supporting evidence.

I'd also like to know where you got the idea that it's "not that much more expensive" to produce copious quantities of valuable originals than it is to have an equivalent number of quality lithographs run, numbered and signed for a select group of pieces? You may have an interest in art and buying art or whatever, so you'd be speaking as the consumer? I am approaching this conversation from the production POV, for what it's worth.

You see this is kinda a catch for me I do not see any where I would put something like that. But I could very well see it in my snake room, but I don't think that they would appreciate the absolutely exquisite detail that you put into the picture. So I would vote no. Not a reflection on your talent just my opinion. Would I pay you to do a family portrait that I might would consider.

To be honest I'm not a person that would purchase a ink+pencil drawing but would DEFINITELY purchase paintings that look like the one above!

I am thoroughly impressed by you man, I always ask the question to myself "How can they made the painting which looks so real". You have made the image of python so real that it looks pretty good and real also.

I cannot speak to the whole print versus original issue, but I would very much like to have a nice piece of ball python art of some type.

Right now it's hard to even find a decent poster.
