    Looks nice!
How are you heating it and how did you water proof it?
Also, are you in the process of making larger ones? Those babies will outgrow that space in a year...

I used Thompsons stain and water sealer.
Right now I'm using the UThs that I had on the aquaiurms but i'm going to replace them with flexwatt. These cages hold heat and humidity well. I already have some 4' x 2' x 2's that my adults are in, but plan on upgrade these to 6' x '2' x 2' in about 8 monthes

    Niiiice!!!!
Will you be making the 6x2x2 cages yourself? Sure wish I was handy like that...
Can the flex go through the wood?
Do you put wheels on the bottom of the cages? I'd imagine that they are really heavy!!
    Really great job!!

Yeah I'm going to build them my self.
One is a little heavy, because I used all 1/2 plywood.
Then I lighten them up by using 1/4.
the framing is 2x2 boards. The plexi is framed by 1x2s
I don't see why the flexwatt would'nt heat thru, since the UTHs do.

    Re: new cage

I finish my last 4x2x2 in spite of the rain.

I used cat litter pans and screw a few 2" blocks from the scrap for the hides

I went with side opening doors, I don't really care for the down opening doors.

Just have to let the silicone try and air a few days

a few of the snake room now

    Re: new cage

    thanks again

My real project is going to be building a large rack, like 60 - 100 tubs
Way more than I need for a while.
But that is also 8-10 months down the road.
I got a pair I'm hoping to breed next year, so a litter 2010.
