Congrats on the new additions. However, it sounds to me like you may have received your animal from a less than reputable vendor. If he didn't even "take my rainbow out of his container to really give him a look or handle him... nor did he ask one question about it besides how old it was", then who's to say that 30 minutes before you walked up, or even at the last show, he didn't trade a couple Leopard Geckos for that Het Pied, and didn't even look at it or ask questions about it. I am not saying he is bad, but it would concern me that the vendor was not concerned enough to give a quick look at an animal that he is putting into contact with his other stock or collection. It just doesn't sound like a good prctice, or a responsible herper.
