Sorry... have to say something... gay is a social identity, and the behaviour is homosexual... and since snakes do not have a social identity, they cannot be gay. 
Same with gender, gender is a socail construct, snakes have sexes not genders (pet peeve of mine).
Ok... yeah, your snake isn't gay.

sounds like jurassic park chaos theory, were the eggs they were hatched out of introduced to frog DNA? if so you could have a problem prehistoric snakes were huge so when your males have there eggs candle em and look for legs were the little claws oughta be, if they got legs call speilberg he,ll know what to do

You other option is that one of them was not sexed properly.
I'm glad someone explained this. I had what I thought was a female (silly me that I believed a reptile store...uggghhh), and I had put my YB male in with her (him) a week ago. It looked like they bred. So, I repeated it again last night. Oh my! I'd never seen BPs wrestle before. She/he was really upset. So I had to separate them. The YB is now in with one of my probed female BPs and they are locked. And now I have a Normal adult male that I have no clue what to do with (breeding-wise)...ahhhh...
